TBBA Board Members

Tennyson Berkeley Business Association was established as a 501 (c) 6 December 2014 to provide a support and communication network for Tennyson/Berkeley businesses in order to collaborate on events and marketing efforts, the goal being to strengthen and promote Tennyson and Berkeley businesses while honoring the diversity, history and future of the neighborhood.

Alyssa Manny – Ohana Yoga + Barre, President

Founder of Ohana Yoga + Barre near 44th and Tennyson St. She has been serving as President for the TBBA for several years and brings her knowledge of design, architecture, branding, mindset and leadership to the association.

 

Nicole Wolsey-Neech – Jolly Goods, Treasurer

Nicole is the Treasurer of the TBBA and owner of Jolly Goods, a gift boutique that has called Tennyson St. home since 2012. She is a fourth-generation Colorado native and loves that she has a business near where her great-great grandparents settled and raised their family in NW Denver.

 

Aaron Murphy – Miya Salon, Membership Coordinator

Born and raised in Michigan, Aaron attended Michigan State University, and then moved to Chicago to pursue his passion for business. After 12 years of working for a global logistics company, he decided that working in corporate America was no longer fulfilling his passions and wanted to be involved in a smaller business where he could be more impactful. Moving to Denver in 2018 with his partner Emily, a hairstylist, they begin new adventures in life and work.

Collectively, they took over ownership of Miya Salon & Spa in March 2020 and Aaron immersed himself in everything hair, small business, and the local Tennyson Community could offer, including the TBBA

 

Heather Madonia – Windows Dressed Up, Board Member

Heather started her career in Interior Design followed by Dental Hygiene. She acquired long standing Tennyson St business, Windows Dressed Up in 2018 with her sister Lindsay. Heather and Lindsay’s family have been in the Berkeley neighborhood since 1960 and Heather currently lives in her grandmother’s original brick bungalow!

Lindsay Madonia – Windows Dressed Up, Board Member

Lindsay spent 10 years in digital marketing and took the leap into entrepreneurship with her sister in 2018. Lindsay enjoys snowboarding in Steamboat Springs with her husband and planning her next adventure. Lindsay has been to four continents, 25+ countries, and counting!

Jay Bombalicki – Berkeley Untapped, Board Member

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Jay has called Tennyson Street home for over a decade. After 10 years as a paramedic firefighter, he opened Berkeley Untapped in 2014. In his off time, he enjoys camping with his dog, Georgie, snowboarding, mountain biking and attending concerts. He also hosts the free concerts in Cesar Chavez park every First Friday, come support Tennyson!

Lee Ann Hahne – FlyteCo Brewing, Board Memberr

Lee Ann’s love of craft beer landed her in the perfect location 4 years ago when she moved to Colorado! One of the original employees, Lee Ann was hired as a bartender for FlyteCo and worked her way up to General Manager and now Owner!

Sara Fetzer – The Empourium Brewing Co., Board Member

Sara is a Colorado Native born in Montrose on the Western Slope. She graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Sara loves cats, dad jokes, craft beer as well as the Berkeley Neighborhood! Sara appreciates the small town feel of our neighborhood and being part of a small community!
